“ I wasn't expecting much from a watering hole in Sanford, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Mill Towne Tavern is. I checked out a few bars in the area around 2012, and everything pretty much sucked. MTT is a nice joint. I've only ever come in for a drink and something small to eat - never really stuck around to see what it's like after 10 PM. My short experiences here have always been positive. The place is clean and decorated in a cool, funky way that I have a hard time describing... like "Americana meets Roadhouse" is pretty close but not quite right. Lots of places put very minimal effort into the aesthetics of the joint, but MTT looks good. You can tell that a lot of quality work and care was put into this establishment. ”

“ I feel like this place needs a good 5 stars. I think it has gotten a less than desirable rep in the past but I can confirm it is not the place I knew growing up. The food was really good, did I mention 2 DOLLAR TACOS ON WEDNESDAYS! the pulled pork nachos were also great and the prices are very fair. Pool tables are in good shape and overall nothing to complain about. ”

“ Today was our first time dining at this location. The staff were very attentive and kind, even gave us a shirley temple on the house! We ordered wings, chicken & waffles, the mac and cheese burger, and the black and blue burger. They all tasted delicious and didn’t take long for us to get them. They have a variety of games (billiards, corn hole, jenga) and tons of space to spread out. Overall I’d recommend this place to my family and friends. ”
